On The Move: Promotions, New Hires & Advancements

Rebekah Doweyko, LPC of Durham has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Clinical Operations, Connecticut Region, for Walden Behavioral Care LLC, a leading hospital for treating eating disorders. In her new role, Doweyko will be responsible for the clinical services and operations of all Walden locations in Connecticut. This includes oversight of clinics in Guilford (which opened in May) and South Windsor, both offering evidence-based partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment. She will also provide support for a new inpatient eating disorder unit opening soon in Vernon. Walden employs more than 30 staff throughout the state. Doweyko previously was the program director for Walden’s South Windsor clinic. She earned her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Florida Atlantic University and is a licensed professional counselor in Connecticut.
